Competition

Each is different from the size they are, to the way right now they are being treated.

With the help us what is happening to them can be defeated.

They have, and still are joining in parades while bands playing the national anthem.

They have worked in fields helping the farmers get their crops out, but now some humans are abusing them.

All for what they call competition, as they place a wager on who is going to be the victor, I know it is all for the cold cash.

To abuse anything especially a helpless animal to me is worse than foolish.

Horses are sharp they get to know the person that loves them, and when trained right they are wonderful animals to enjoy each day.

The key is horses' turn out the way the trainer wants them to, they are not meant to be used, abused then thrown away.

They are taking two male horses, and placing them amongst a female then the fight commences.

To my horror they have no slack in audiences.

The horses not only get wounded, but sometimes they are slain.

In doing so I ask what is there to gain?

As they place a wager on who is going to be the victor, it is just disgusting.

Their lives are placed into our hands, for us they have no problem trusting.

These beautiful animals ask not for much, especially not to be treated this way.

Just some companionship with tender loving care, water, salt, and hay.

Across deserts, countries, in the harshest of weather, they were there for some of our ancestors going the miles.

They have only made life easier by being on this planet, and enhancing many lifestyles.

They have touched my heart from the time I was a little girl, to this day that feeling has not dwindled.

Nothing quite like the feeling brushing the horse down after it has been unsaddled.

Sorry, your browser does not support java.

They can fill your life with so much love, and pleasure.

Truly horses were gifts from above, and such a treasure.

To have the privilege of owning a horse means you are caring for something that is wild even though the horse may be trained.

In some states by mistreating them, you can get jail time not just fined.

To stop this would be a wonderful competition worthy of winning.

It does Indeed beat the act of abusing.
